The Sindh government has allowed vaccination for all citizens aged 18 and above who are travelling abroad and hold a valid student visa or work permit.
A spokesperson for the Sindh Health Department said the decision was taken because some countries require confirmation of vaccination before granting permission to enter.
In a statement, the health department said the vaccination facility at the Karachi Expo Centre was available 24/7 and urged all staff and general practitioners at private hospitals (including doctors, paramedics, nurses, etc.) to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
