Red Crescent Society donates masks to LGH

LAHORE: Pakistan Red Crescent Society has donated 5,000 high quality N-95 masks for doctors and medical staff serving on the corona front in the Lahore General Hospital so that those can be saved who are facing this dangerous epidemic.

Red Crescent Society Chairman Ibrarul Haq handed over these masks to Postgraduate Medical Institute Principal Prof Dr Sardar Muhammad Al-freed Zafar.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Al-freed Zafar said the doctors and the medical community were working day and night to cure the corona patients and save their lives.

He lauded the role of the Red Crescent Society which had always been generous in helping its compatriots in the face of natural calamities and diseases.

The PGMI principal offered his thanks to the Red Crescent Society chairman for donating the masks.

Mr Ibrarul Haq said this organisation was working day and night to help the people as much as possible and to bring society in line with the requirements of the times.

He said in order to deal with the coronavirus in particular, the Red Crescent Society had provided assistance to various hospitals and institutions which would extend relief to Covid patients.
