KARACHI: Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu has expressed his deep grief over the demise of renowned aviation author and journalist Pushpinder Singh Chopra, who died from Covid-19 in Delhi on May 3 at the age of 77.

Mr Singh was a great admirer of the Pakistan Air Force and in 1991, he co-authored a book titled Fizaya -- Psyche of the Pakistan Air Force along with Ravirikhye and Peter Steinemann.

Born in Murree, the journalist spent his early childhood in Lahore before his family migrated to India. In the year 2000, he visited Pakistan as a guest of the PAF.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Sidhu has extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and acknowledged Mr Singh’s noteworthy contributions to aviation journalism.
