Pakistan has reported more than 4,000 coronavirus cases for six consecutive days. During the last 24 hours, the country reported 4,757 infections and 78 deaths.

The total number of cases is currently 667,957 while the death toll is 14,434. Meanwhile, the positivity rate is 10.8 per cent, up from 8.8 a day earlier.

Breakdown of cases and deaths reported on March 31:

• Punjab: 2,698 cases, 46 deaths
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 1,011 cases, 23 deaths
• Islamabad: 629 cases, 5 deaths
• Sindh: 275 cases, 2 deaths
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 114 cases, 2 deaths
• Balochistan: 22 cases
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 8 cases
