Punjab has recorded 860 new coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours, marking the highest daily total since Jan 2 when the province confirmed 847 infections. Its tally has reached 175,051.

The province also reported 30 additional deaths from the virus, taking the total number of fatalities to 5,510.
