LAHORE, Oct 13: Opposition boycotted the Punjab Assembly’s house business advisory committee which met here on Thursday to decide agenda for the session starting on Friday morning.

Speaker Afzal Sahi was in the chair while law minister Raja Basharat, agriculture minister Arshad Lodhi and assembly secretary Saeed Ahmad participated.

Neither opposition leader Qasim Zia nor deputy opposition leader Rana Sanaullah was available for comments.

The committee offered Fateha for quake victims before taking up the agenda, duration and other affairs of the house.

It decided to move a resolution in the house on the first of the session for showing solidarity with the quake martyrs.
