Sindh has reported 260 new cases of the novel coronavirus, raising the provincial tally to 259,163.

Moreover, the daily situation report issued by the Chief Minister's Office confirmed the deaths of 17 more patients. The death toll now stands at 4,405.

The statement added that 9,689 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, returning a positivity rate of 2.6 per cent.
