Self-reliance

Published

WE often get to know that Turkey, China or some other country has built ships for Pakistan. After seven decades of independence and with a computer-literate workforce, we still cannot employ Pakistani labour to build these ships. Isn’t it a shame? In fact, we can build ships not only for ourselves but also for other countries, employing Pakistani labour and importing parts from abroad.

We need to grow out of a situation where political parties seize power and hang on to it, milking this poor nation dry. We need to build a strong self-reliant nation.
