LAHORE: After clearing Covid-19 test, national Twenty20 squads of both Pakistan and South African practised under floodlights here at the Gaddafi Stadium on Friday as part of their preparations for the forthcoming series.

Pakistan face South Africa in a three-match T20 series being staged at the Gaddafi Stadium from Feb 11 to 14.

Earlier, the South African team were to practice in the morning and Pakistan in the afternoon. However, this schedule was changed later and both the teams held practice sessions simultaneously under floodlights.

Both the teams were quarantined after reaching Lahore on Feb 3 and went through the Covid-19 test.

All the players cleared the test and now they are permitted to undergo practice sessions in the evening daily till Feb 8 after which a new schedule will be released when the players currently featuring in the second and last Test match between the two countries in Rawalpindi will also be free to join their respective T20 squads.
