THE railway lines between Jacobabad and Larkana via Usta Mohammad, Garhi Khairo and Qambar have remained out of service for nearly 20 years. Miscreants have dismantled and taken away the railway track, while the land belonging to the railways has been encroached upon.
The government has made several attempts to rectify the situation, but these have proved to be half-hearted as the railway service has not been restored. As a result, the people of Jacobabad, Usta Mohammad and Garhi Khairo wanting to travel to Larkana face great inconvenience. It will be great if the matter is somehow resolved.
