Sindh has reported 1,049 new cases of the novel coronavirus, raising the provincial tally to 220,501.

The daily situation report issued by the Chief Minister's Office also confirmed the deaths of 11 more patients. The death toll now stands at 3,634.

The report added that 12,457 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, returning a positivity rate of 8.4 per cent.
