961 new coronavirus cases and 17 deaths have been reported in Sindh during the last 24 hours, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

In a statement, he said that 11,473 tests were conducted during this period. The provincial total of infections has risen to 218,597, while the death toll stands at 3,611.

Of the 961 cases reported, 791 were recorded in Karachi.
