‘PM’s decision to deny NRO to the corrupt proves right’
SIALKOT: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan says time has proved that the decision of not giving NRO to the thieves, plunderers and corrupt leaders was the right one by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The positive impacts of this decision of not giving any NRO are now appearing in the shape of national political stability and helpful in purging Pakistan of corruption and corrupt leaders.
She was speaking to newsmen after distributing clothes and sweets among the poor and deserving people at the Old Age Home here on Sunday.
The people of Sindh, she said, would bury the politics of confrontation by the opposition as politically mature people of Punjab had already rejected the PDM’s nefarious designs. She also berated the PPP and said the PDM had nothing to do but protect corruption.
She said Maryam Nawaz would offer apology to the late Benazir Bhutto for badmouthing her and other leaders of the PPP. She said Maryam was targeting Prime Minister Imran Khan in a bid to seek NRO from the government. Maryam Nawaz was using derogatory words against the premier, she said.
She said the PTI government was successfully foiling every anti- democracy and anti-people conspiracy being hatched by the corrupt politicians. She said the government was committed to ending corruption from the country besides recovering every penny from the corrupt.
She said the government was fulfilling its political promises and commitments made with the public. She said Naya Pakistan was successfully moving ahead on the basis of justice and honesty.
