The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) was told that the government is in close and consistent contact with leading Covid-19 vaccine manufacturers — including Chinese manufacturers.

In an update, the NCOC said the government is regularly reviewing all developments concerning the coronavirus, including data from phase 3 clinical trials currently ongoing in Pakistan.

With these steps, it said the government will make a final decision about "early availability of the vaccine for Pakistan".
