LAHORE, Oct 4: District Coordination Officer Khalid Sultan on Tuesday imposed a ban on holding of public meetings and rallies and display of weapons in the city under Section 144 in view of the elections of district and town nazims. A notification issued by the DCO said the ban would also apply on the victory marches to be organized by the candidates winning the election and those violating it would be proceeded against.
