KOHAT, Oct 4: PPP and Sherpao groups have announced to support ANP (Watan Dost) candidate for the post of tehsil nazim. This was announced by the district secretary-general of PPP-P Abdur Rauf advocate and president of PPP-Sherpao Mahmoodul Islam advocate at a meeting held here on Tuesday.

Interestingly ANP MPAs and councillors are supporting PML-Q (Khushal Pakistan group) candidate Seth Gohar Sauifullah Khan for the post of district nazim and JUI-F nominee Pir Munim Shah for the slot of tehsil nazim.

While seth Gohar is expecting a sure win against his rival Omar Khan of ANP. The position of Haji Sardar of Jamaat-i-Islami has improved considerably for the post of tehsil nazim after a visit of central secretary-general Munawar Hassan and NWFP senior minister Sirajul Haq to Kohat for his campaigning on Monday.
