PESHAWAR: The special inquiry team of the Board of Governors of the Khyber Teaching Hospital has sought a three-day additional time to finalise its report on deaths of six persons that occurred at the hospital due to shortage of oxygen.

The inquiry team constituted on the directives of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said it was still looking into the matter from different angles to complete the probe without leaving anything undone.

The CM has sought the inquiry report within seven days.

The team constituted by BoGs chairman Dr Nadeem Khawar has already completed initial inquiry into the incident. On the basis of its findings, the hospital director Dr Tahir Nadeem and seven other employees have been suspended.
