Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's fatalities from Covid-19 have risen to 1,404 after five more deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the government's coronavirus portal. The province also recorded 537 new cases, taking its total infections to 49,220.

Meanwhile, Balochistan reported 48 additional cases, taking the provincial tally to 17,440.
