Pakistan has reported 40 additional fatalities from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 8,025.
The countrywide breakdown of deaths is as follows:

- Punjab: 2,991
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 1,368
- Balochistan: 166
- Islamabad: 314
- Gilgit Baltistan: 97
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 165
