HYDERABAD: Rejecting Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi’s allegations of favouritism on political grounds and questioning credibility of the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), a spokesman for the institution here on Friday said that Mr Naqvi unnecessarily involved the constitutional body for “political point scoring”.
The allegations by leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly came at a press conference held in Karachi a day earlier.
The spokesman noted that the allegations were without any specific evidence or any substantive grounds. “The SPSC totally denies such accusations and reiterates its motto for indiscriminate meritorious recruitment,” he added.
As far as the recruitment in the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) is concerned, SPSC has no role to play ... the SRB is an independent department and conducts recruitment as per its own standards, according to the spokesman.
