1,348 new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, taking the provincial tally to 167,381, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Eight more people lost their lives due to the virus, with Sindh's death toll climbing to 2,864.

A total of 12,159 tests were carried out during the last 24 hours in Sindh, showing a positivity rate of just over 11 per cent.
