Sindh has recorded 1,382 new cases and 13 deaths from the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said.

The total number of cases has now reached 166,033, according to the statement. The provincial death toll, meanwhile, stands at 2,858.

Among the newly reported cases, 1,091 have emerged in Karachi.
