Punjab has reported 22 fatalities from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the government's coronavirus database. The provincial death toll has risen to 2,848, surpassing Sindh's total fatalities.

The province has also reported 553 new cases, taking Punjab's tally of infections to 114,010.
