The world of Mickey is nothing but fun and excitement for Mickey and his best pals — Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto — as they embark on their greatest adventures yet, navigating the curveballs of a wild and zany world where the magic of Disney makes the impossible possible.

The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse is produced by Disney Television Animation with Emmy Award-winning artist and director Paul Rudish serving as executive producer and supervising director. Christopher Willis, the Emmy Award-winning composer of the Mickey Mouse shorts, also provides the music for this series.

The Weeknd to headline halftime show

Grammy-winning singer The Weeknd will headline the Super Bowl LV halftime show. Roc Nation and producer Jesse Collins will co-executive produce the halftime show.

“We all grow up watching the world’s biggest acts playing the Super Bowl, and one can only dream of being in that position,” The Weeknd said in a statement. “I’m humbled, honoured and ecstatic to be the centre of that infamous stage this year.”

Super Bowl LV will take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The game and halftime show will air on CBS.

The National Football League (NFL) said it plans to hold stadium capacity to 20 per cent for Super Bowl LV. Fans in attendance will be in pods six feet apart, and masks will be required.

The reboot of Darkwing Duck

Disney Television Animation is in early development for a reboot of the hit 1990s toon Darkwing Duck for Disney.

Launched in 1991 on Disney Channel, the action-adventure-comedy with a feathery superhero twist was created by long time Disney animator Tad Stones. The series followed the adventures of the titular noir-ish, egotistical superhero — a.k.a. Drake Mallard — voiced by Jim Cummings. The show was chock full of parodies of and allusions to Golden Age superheroes, pulp fiction and super-spies.

Darkwing Duck aired for three seasons, picking up several Daytime Emmy nominations and a voice acting Annie Award for Cummings.

The character of Darkwing Duck has also enjoyed a recurring role in the rebooted Duck Tales series.
