Six die in accident

TOBA TEK SINGH, Sept 30: Six people were killed and seven others injured seriously in a chain collision on the Toba-Faisalabad Road near the Janiwala railway station, some 15km from here, on Friday.

Two cars of a wedding party were going to Faisalabad from Chak 335-GB when a coaster coming from the opposite side collided with one of them. The other car hit the first one from the rear.

Mazhar, his wife Afshan, two daughters Urooj (6), Aleeba (3), one-year old Ali and a relative, Haji Waseem, died on the spot, while seven others, including Hakim Ali, Javed, Siddiq, Ilyas, Hayat and Bashiran, sustained injuries. The injured were taken to the DHQ Hospital.
