Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Secretary Imtiaz Hussain Shah has tested positive for the coronavirus, he said in a statement.

Shah said he felt unwell during a visit to Chitral after which he got himself tested for the virus. He said he has isolated himself at home and his health is better.

He added that he had submitted a report on the coronavirus situation in Chitral which included the recommendation for announcing winter holidays in schools ahead of time.
