DADU, Sept 29: The general secretary of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Abdul Wahid Areesar, has said that the economic crisis was deepening in the country due to wrong policies of the government.

He was talking to newsmen at the local press club on Wednesday.

The JSQM general secretary said that poverty was on the rise in the country while the federal and provincial ministers were blindly misusing public money on foreign tours.

The financial aid given by the World Bank and the

Asian Development Bank was being wasted by the rulers, he said.

Mr Areesar said the government was claiming to have foreign exchange reserves of $13 billion, but it was only on paper.

Economic hardships were forcing people to commit suicide, he believed.
