THE terrorist attack on Kabul University that killed 22 students has further brutalised the youth of this war-torn country. The deed is an attempt to derail the ongoing intra-Afghan peace talks.

Targeting an institution of higher learning and murdering university students is a matter of serious concern, as it is these youth who will help rebuild the war-torn country and put it back on the track of prosperity, peace and harmony.

One hopes that the Afghan people’s struggle for peace in their country would prevail and their country may see better days in the future.
