LAHORE: In line with a policy of Lahore High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan to promote digitalization in the district judiciary of Punjab, laptops are being provided to all the judicial officers.

According to the data released by the directorate of district judiciary, as many as 1,756 laptops have been provided to the district and sessions judges in the 36 districts for further distribution among 1,102 judges of civil courts and 654 of the session courts.

Chief Justice Khan observed that the provision of laptops to the judges of the district judiciary would promote digitalization in the district judiciary of Punjab and would help the judges in providing speedy and quality justice.

SAHIWAL: The judicial magistrates got laptops at a ceremony held at the office of the District and Sessions Judge here on Friday.

More than 30 laptops were distributed among the judicial magistrates.

D&SJ Iram Ayaz said the judicial magistrates were provided laptops to see online cases rosters and ensure speedy disposal of cases in lower courts.
