KARACHI, Sept 28: At least 5,000 telephone connections went out of order on Wednesday when officials of the Frontier Works Organization damaged a cable near Schon Circle.

The areas affected by the fault included Bath Island, Gizri, Delhi Colony, Punjab Colony and some portions of Clifton.
