CDA to launch app for citizens to pay dues
ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has signed an agreement with One Link to allow the payment of utility charges and other fees related to the authority through a mobile phone application.
CDA Member Finance Rana Shakeel Asghar and One Link Chief Operating Officer Najeeb Agrawalla signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard at CDA headquarters.
Mr Asghar told the media that the app will be operational in a week to facilitate citizens, who will be able to deposit their property transfer fees, water and sanitation charges, and so on.
Mr Agrawalla said the company will provide three services to CDA customers, including mobile and ATM banking.
Speaking to Dawn, Member Estate Naveed Illahi said the online system to deposit fees will not only help citizens but will also help the CDA ensure transparency.
“The CDA and citizens will have a complete record of fees, so this system is going to be very transparent,” he said.
