NAB holds essay writing competition
LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB’s) awareness and prevention (A&P) wing on Tuesday organised an essay writing competition (English) among college students.
The essay theme was ‘Causes of corruption in Pakistan and its solution’. Lahore Director Colleges Ziaur Rehman and A&P Wing Director Syed Muhammad Husnain supervised the event.
The A&P Wing implements the statutory and state obligations vested vide Section 33B and section 33C of National Accountability Ordinance, 1999.
The English essay competition was held at Government Post-Graduate APWA College for Women where students from 17 colleges of the province wrote their essay.
The Urdu essay writing competition was held atthe College for Boys, Township, where participants wrote on ‘Pakistan mein corruption kay asbab aur unka mumkina hall’.
Hundreds of students participated in the competitions and a jury would announce results on the Annual International Anti-Corruption Day on Dec 9.
