The global Covid-19 death toll has risen to over 951,000, according to the Coronavirus Resource Centre at the Johns Hopkins University.

The highest number of fatalities have been reported by the United States with 198,589 deaths, followed by Brazil with 135,793 and India with more than 85,000 fatalities.

More than 20.8 million people have recovered from the coronavirus worldwide, according to Reuters.
