SIALKOT, Sept 22: The Canada-Pakistan Technology and Business Forum and Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) signed a memorandum of understanding here on Thursday. CPTBF’s president Muhammad Iqbal Imam and SCCI president Qaisar S. Shabbir inked the MoU during a special ceremony held at the SCCI.
According to the MoU, the CPTBF and SCCI would make efforts to strengthen trade ties, bring the businessmen of both countries closer and establish joint ventures in different trade fields.
The CPTBF president also discussed matters relating to mutual interests with the Sialkot business community.
WORKSHOP: A two-day workshop on “Green productivity” concluded here on Thursday.
The National Productivity Organization (NPO) and Cleaner Production Centre (CPC), Sialkot, mutually organized the workshop at the CPC in active collaboration with the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), Japan.
APO’s international experts Dr Suporn Koottatep and Prof Tay Joo Hwa gave presentation on the green productivity concept, methodology and green productivity techniques in tannery industry, problem identification and setting objectives and targets.
