LAHORE, Sept 22: An FIA official was shot dead outside his house in Block E of Jauhar Town on Thursday. Police said head constable Sajid Ali, 31, had just left his house for office when two motorcyclists held him up and opened fire. He suffered critical injuries and the attackers escaped. He was rushed to hospital where he died.

The body was sent to the city mortuary for autopsy. A case was registered with no arrest.
