RAWALPINDI, Sept 19: Additional District and Sessions Judge Ch Habibur Rehman on Monday directed the District Police Officer (DPO) Saud Aziz to register a case against Federal Minister for Information Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

The judge took the action on the complaint of the chairperson of Varan transport company, Uzma Gul, in which she alleged that the minister accompanied by some armed persons entered the company’s depot on August 12 after breaking its door. The judge also directed the DPO to depute a senior police officer to investigate the case.—A Reporter
