Former envoy made BPSC chairman

QUETTA: Former ambassador Abdul Salik Khan Yousafzai was appointed Balochistan Public Service Commission chairman for five years, it was officially announced in a notification issued by the Balochistan government on Thursday.

Mr Yousafzai belongs to Quetta and served on various positions in Pakistan’s embassies in Germany, Oman, Yemen, Kazakhstan, China and Indonesia.

He was recently retired from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Grade 22.

After graduating from the Balochistan University, Mr Yousafzai joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan after passing the Central Superior Services examination and served as the director of different regions in the Foreign Office.
