LONDON, Sept 17: Nottinghamshire won the English county championship for the first time in 18 years with a 214-run victory over Kent on the fourth and final day at Canterbury on Saturday. Medium-pace seam bowler Andrew Harris took six for 76 as the home side were bowled out for 205 in their second innings after being set a target of 420 in 70 overs.—Reuters
