670 new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, taking the provincial tally to 115,883, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

The virus claimed another 36 lives in the province, with its overall death toll so far rising to 2,096.

The new infections were detected after 9,804 samples were tested during the last 24 hours — a positivity rate of seven per cent.
