Punjab has reported 449 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking its provincial tally to 87,492, according to the government's Covid-19 portal.

It has also reported 13 additional fatalities, taking the death toll to 2,026 — the highest among all provinces. According to the portal, 63,977 people have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
