KP govt imposed fines worth over Rs35.2m over SOPs violations: CM's adviser

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has issued directions to take "strict action" against people found violating the government's coronavirus SOPs, his newly appointed adviser on information Kamran Khan Bangash said.

Addressing a press conference, he said tens of thousands of businesses had been fined and thousands of industrial units were sealed for not following the health guidelines. The provincial government has collected more than Rs35.2 million in fines since June, according to Bangash.
