Islamabad and the federal territories have collectively recorded 138 new coronavirus cases and eight deaths, the government's Covid-19 portal said.

The breakdown of cases in the capital, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan is as follows:

• Islamabad: 98

• AJK: 26

• GB: 14

The federal capital also recorded four new deaths, while three were reported in GB. AJK reported one death as well.
