WHO chief lauds Pakistan's 'strong surveillance efforts' to fight Covid-19

WHO Director General Dr Tedros Adhanom has lauded Pakistan's "strong surveillance efforts to fight the pandemic" and noted that Covid-19 cases in the country have been declining since early June.

The tweet comes after the WHO chief had a video conference with Prime Minister Imran Khan, during which the latter spoke about efforts made by the government to prevent spread of Covid-19 in Pakistan.
