Indonesia has reported 1,447 new coronavirus infections, Health Ministry official Achmad Yurianto said, taking the southeast Asian nation’s tally to 62,142.

The death toll rose to 3,089 after 53 more people died from the virus, Reuters quoted Yurianto as saying.
