President Arif Alvi has urged the nation to maintain social distancing and opt for collective sacrifices of animals to avoid the spread of the coronavirus this Eidul Azha, Radio Pakistan reported.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, he directed officials to take all stakeholders, including clerics and provincial governments, into confidence for implementation of security measures related to Covid-19 during Eid holidays later this month.
