Islamabad has reported 248 new cases of the coronavirus, according to the government's Covid-19 portal, taking the capital's tally of cases to 12,643.

Gilgit Baltistan has reported 19 new cases while Azad Jammu and Kashmir has confirmed 22, taking their tallies to 1,442 and 1,049, respectively.

Islamabad has also recorded five deaths from the virus in the last 24 hours. AJK and GB have not reported additional fatalities.
