Punjab has reported 1,228 new cases and 21 new deaths in the past 24 hours, the government's Covid portal said.

The province has so far recorded 69,536 cases and 1,516 deaths. Punjab has the second-highest number of cases among provinces and federal territories, and the highest death toll.
