Minister for States and Frontier Regions Shehryar Afridi announced that he has recovered from Covid-19 after "24 days of acute illness".

In a tweet, he said: "I have tested negative [for Covid-19] after 24 days of acute illness. It was a painful experience but it is my firm [belief] that every sickness & illness brings us closer to Allah. May Allah protect all from this pandemic."
