The number of cases in Punjab has crossed the 60,000 mark as the province reported 1,899 new patients of the virus.

According to the government's Covid-19 portal, the province now has 60,138 cases.

Additionally, the province has reported 53 new deaths, taking its death toll up to 1,202. So far the province has reported 17,825 recovered cases.
