An interesting Eid issue

The Eid edition of Young World, on May 23, 2020, was not less than an eidi for us in the suffocated atmosphere of social distancing due to Covid-19.

“A fairy tale Eid” by Maverick made my day because fantasy and fairy tales are necessary parts of each girl’s life. Next, I cannot help but speak about the touching article “Alone at the other edge” written by Naad-e-Ali Khan. The write up showed us a view which we did not know before because it can only be experienced by frontline workers and their families. How nicely the writer described the struggles faced by a doctor’s family, and by the end tears welled up in my eyes.

It is a reality that few of us have ever thought of things from the writer’s point of view. Let me confess, the message of taking precautions for Covid-19 has never been delivered this effectively before. I request all the readers to stay at home and stay safe.

Dawn’s Young World magazine is a complete package. It has something to offer to all kinds of readers. I would like to thank the Young World for bringing out such an amazing magazine each week!

More pages in YW

This is a request for the printing of more stories in Young World so that we can get more stories to read during this time when we are all isolated in our homes.

I look forward to each Saturday to read this magazine because this is the only newspaper that has something of interest for children. All the other newspapers only carry news of politics and Covid-19, which is very depressing.

This is also a very good platform for budding writers to polish their skills by sending their work and seeing it printed.

If more pages are added in YW, then we will have more interesting things to read.

Cruelty to an elephant

Humanity has left human beings because humans became more dangerous than animals. Recently, an elephant was murder when she walked towards a small village looking for food and the people gave her a pineapple full of firecrackers. The crackers burst in her mouth and she was badly injured.

She only came with the hope of getting food and she could not imagine that people would be so cruel to her.

Each and every year, countless animals are killed by the people. When we stop being cruel towards animals, we will stop being cruel to people also.
